Your responses have been overwhelmingly thoughtful, supportive, and constructive. Many of you have shared how meaningful it would be to develop the Old Hospital site into something valuable for the entire NOTL community.

Hello Residents of NOTL,

My name is Dr. Nick Vaccaro, and I’m excited to introduce myself to this incredible Niagara-on-the-Lake community.

Some of you may know me from my work on Wellness Suites in Niagara Falls—a wellness-focused condo and clinical development that was built with longevity and healthy living in mind. Now, I’m bringing that same vision home to NOTL through a new proposed project called Wellness Estates. Our goal is to create a space on the Old Hospital site where adults of all ages can thrive in place, with access to world-class healthcare services and beautiful, wellness-oriented living—right here in your own backyard.

This project is deeply personal to me. I truly believe Niagara-on-the-Lake has the potential to become a global leader in wellness and healthy aging, and I’m passionate about creating something that reflects the values and spirit of this community.
